Get help preparing for and connecting to a wide range of jobs across New York City.

Through the Virtual Workforce1 Career Center system, New Yorkers can get one-on-one career help. Services include finding jobs that are a good fit, preparing for interviews, and accessing free training. Services are free and available online or over the phone.

Who it's for Who it's for

Anyone 18 years or older who is legally authorized to work in the US can use a Workforce1 Career Center.

Schedule Schedule

  • Workforce1 schedules one-on-one customer appointments based on your availability and their operating hours, usually Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm.
  • Workforce1 also hosts a variety of group workshops throughout the week. This schedule varies by borough.

Disability Accommodation Disability Accommodation

Workforce1 delivers remote and online services through platforms approved by the ADA and the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (for example, using Zoom for group workshops).

Language Access Language Access

Workforce1 staff can deliver career advisement and job preparation in 25 languages in addition to English. Workforce1 also offers phone translation services if the staff does not speak your preferred language.
