SYEP helps NYC youth ages 14–24 with career exploration opportunities and paid work experiences.

SYEP offers young New Yorkers the opportunity to get paid to explore their interests and career pathways, develop workplace skills, and engage in learning experiences. This summer, participants will develop social, civic, and leadership skills through their work-experience program.

Who it's for

You are eligible to apply if you:

  • Live in NYC
  • Are between the ages of 14 and 24 years old
  • Legally allowed to work in the US

Young adults, ages 22-24, who face employment barriers or reside in NYCHA development may be eligible for special programming. Please visit our website to learn more.
