These classes help young adults prepare to take the test to earn their high school equivalency diploma.

Pathways to Graduation can help you earn your high school equivalency diploma (HSE or GED) and get ready for college and career success. Classes take place at locations across the city and are open for students ages 17–21. If you’re over 21 years old, check out high school equivalency programs for adult learners.

Who it's for

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be 17–21 years old
  • Be a resident of New York City
  • Not have a US high school diploma or equivalency (HSE or GED)

Language Access

Pathways to Graduation offers bilingual classes in addition to English classes.
