Design Works is a free user experience (UX) training program that combines creativity and technology.
DesignWorks is a UX Design Training Program offering rigorous, comprehensive, hands-on learning. Career-change professionals from under-represented backgrounds are led through five modules: visual design, human-centered design, entrepreneurship, coding for designers, and a capstone project doing real work for an actual client. Students receive professional development and support including portfolio development, employment placement assistance, mentorship and a limited number of paid internships.
18+ years HS diploma or equivalency NYC resident Legally eligible to work in the United States Access to a computer or laptop and stable internet connection
Evening schedule, mostly 3 nights per week, 3 hours per session.
