UX Design is a growing career field that combines creativity and technology to design products like websites and apps. DesignWorks is a UX Design Training Program offering rigorous, comprehensive, hands-on learning.
Career-change professionals from under-represented backgrounds are led through five modules: visual design, human-centered design, entrepreneurship, coding for designers, and a capstone project doing real work for an actual client. Students receive professional development and support including portfolio development, employment placement help, mentorship, and a limited number of paid internships.
Applicants must:
- be 18 or older
- have a high school diploma or equivalency
- live in NYC
- be legally eligible to work in the United States
- have access to a computer or laptop and a stable internet connection
Evening schedule, mostly 3 nights per week, 3 hours per session.
